Revenge taken from players of Panathinaikos of 1972. Ajax was the best team and earned the Champion's League at 1972 but things changed today. Anyway Panathinaikos remains the first team ever got to the finals of Champion's League and will remain, as it seems none opposing team has the profile to reach where Panathinaikos has. Of course we hope that we can do it again but this year I find it unprobable. Our team need reinforcements and we have to wait patiently to have the power and claim Champion's League Trophy. The thing we have to do now is not to allow some players leave the team (such as Karagounis, Vokolos, Goumas, Lymberopoulos(unless we get better) and others that are very good players).
Comment on N. Mpeos and his conference
N. Mpeos stated that everything is fixed in the Greek Championship. No one says that he lies, but no one stands by him as if they oppose him they will become "ex". What I mean by that ? ; A radio producer in Thessaloniki said that Victor Mitropoulos is the man behind all these unfortunate shit that happens in Greek Championship became an "ex" radio producer, same goes for other people that lost their jobs.If Mpeos will become an ex President of Panionios(team in Greece) we shall see, you know my prediction.....Somebody in the sky, had to shit and all his turds fell onto Greece. From Victor Mitropoulos to the higher and lower places of this god damned country.!!!!!
Panathinaikos - Valencia 0 - 0
In a game that both pursued the draw. Panathinaikos was tired and Valencia was satisfied with the draw. Unfortunately for Panathinaikos could not perform at same standard as in Old Trafford as he was tired and without 2 out center players ( Paolo Sousa, F. Galleto) and he was cut in half and George Karagounis was not able to manage the whole team. In all countries teams that play in Champion's League play the championship games of their countries at Saturday but no, Not for Panathinaikos that was playing at Sunday afternoon!!!! YES YES another face of the Greek Reality, that I will say outloud is managed by an apposing team!!!
Heroes in Old Trafford
After a surprising match for all who watched the game Panathinaikos looked in the eyes one of the best teams in the world and was better from Manchester United. Unfortunately PAO doesn't have the score to prove it, as PAO lost 3-1 and kicked a LOT of opportunities to win the game specially in the first half. But either luck or skill of PAO's offensive players kicked away that opportunity. Nobody expected better. but we saw better and finally disappointed that we lost. But what can you say when the value of players that attend the Greek Championship is less that the value of Manchester's. Anyway all fans of Panathinaikos, like me must feel proud of his/her choices. ....And if Panathinaikos had Scholes for example the score may have been 1-4.
Panathinaikos to the 16 of Champions League.
Who would have guessed that Panathinaikos would pass to the next stage of Champions League leaving behind Juventus and Hamburger. Well I did, but the chances everyone gave to Panathinaikos were too few and for Olympiakos(the other Greek team at Champions League) two many. Well things have now turned out to be a bit different. Anyways, Panathinaikos in Europe is always a very good team and has proofed it. not only to its fans but also to other teams' fans, too. Got also voted by PSAP best team of Greece of the year 1999-2000 but that doesn't mean that he got the Championship. And do you know why? Greek Reality
Paok Panathinaikos 2-2
Paok scored 2 goals at first half and Panathinaikos took over the second half and scored 3 goals but one of them was cancelled by the referee of the game who was one of the worst we have seen. He destroyed the game of Panathinaikos and a yellow card was there for its players but NOT the same for Paok's team. Unfair, I know but that is how Greek Reality IS.
