Bio and martial arts background Chuck Zito is an all round star and veteran. Back in 1979 he was a Hell's Angel, realizing that the stars needed bodyguards. Zito, a great martial artist, son of a pro-Boxer, former Golden Glove Boxer and black belt in Jiu-Jitsu with his body like an armored battle truck handed out his business cards and started 'protecting' Liza Minelli and her sister. Later he would be a bodyguard for J.C. van Damme, Charles Bronson, Mickey Rourke, Charlie Sheen, Sean Penn, Eric Roberts, Michael Jackson, Sylvester Stallone and many more. Chuck also practised Kickboxing. As a real fighter, Chuck got injured badly, breaking his hands six times and his nose 9 times. Soon he was asked to do some small acting roles and many stunts parts. His acting bits were mostly about being himself as a biker or tough guy, but later he would get bigger roles and stunt parts in bigger movies. Trivia: 1) After being in many movies with many stars he became friends with Van Damme, Mickey Rourke and Stephen Baldwin. In a club, Zito and Van Damme had an argument. The result was that Zito knocked Van Damme down with one blow. It became a headliner in some papers. Zito is known for not taking insults. Some reporters experienced this the hard way!!!!!!!! (Chuck broke 2 knuckles on Van Damme) 2) During 1985-1991 Zito was in jail for a drugs conspiracy. 3) Chuck broke his leg at 5 places after a dangerous motorcycle accident. But now Zito is a great, respected stuntman with his star rising rapidly, waiting for his breakthrough to become the next 'Rambo'. |
