As a boy, Kenji grew up a fan of Jackie Chan, as did everybody. At high school Kenji would start doing gymnastics and martial arts. His style was Shorinji Kempo. In 1993 he'd go to Hong Kong for a movie carreer.
Now Kenji Tanigaki is a man with the reputation of a Hong Kong stuntman. This means he works in typical Hong Kong action movies famous for their cool and dangerous martial arts and stunts.
He is also a former protege of Donnie Yen and has worked with Jackie Chan and many other legends. Now Kenji is becoming more famous after being in more popular movies known in the west, for example Mortal Kombat Annihilation in 1997. At this time Kenji is becoming one of the better and more popular action director for US and Hong Kong action movies. He also enjoys very much working with his two favorite collegues, Donnie Yen since Fist of Fury in 1995 and friend Yuji Shimomura since PUMA.
Kenji is also the author of Moeyo Stuntman and has been in way more movies than credited below.....!!!
