Cary, an army brat lived in many cities while growing up. His father was in the army and his mother an actress. The family finally settled in California where he started his study at the university, and later getting involved in acting.

Cary is also a respected martial artist who developed his own style: Chun Shin. He uses his fighting skills in many cool movies. One of his best is Mortal Kombat in which he plays as the evil sorcerer Shang Tsung.

Cary is known for his ability to play bad guys, while using his charismatic skills. Many consider him one of the most sexy men alive.
