Bio and martial arts background

Johnny Smith is a martial arts and self defence expert, who teaches people to survive a real fight on the streets. Johnny himself has over 20 years experience in martial arts. His training started in 1979 with Jiu-Jitsu, Tang Soo Doo Moo Duk Kwan, and Kobayashi Shorin Ryu. He's now a fifth degree black belt and Karate expert and has many titles.

1989-94 Alabama State Karate Champion

Johnny made some appearances on television with some guest parts. His biggest achievements were his lead role on WMAC-Masters and choreographing fights for Batman and Robin.

Currently Johnny is the president and chief instructor at his Traid Martial Arts. There he continues teaching Karate and Jiu-Jitsu. He's also an instructor of S.S.G.T. Defensive Tactics.
