Bio and martial arts background Born in Hawaii. Vernon started his Kung Fu training as a young boy in Hawaii in the Jing Mo Association. Vernon studied many styles of Kung Fu, Hung Gar and Tai Chi under many Masters. 25 years ago Sifu Rieta came over to Mainland and started a school in Hollywood, CA. As an addition to be a popular teacher to youngsters and adults at many schools Sifu Rieta also worked over 17 years in the acting industry as an actor and stuntman. Still active in the movie industry, Mr. Rieta works ebhind the camera making documentaries.
