Bio and martial arts background Born in 12/18/1970 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Prior to his wrestling carreer Rob was a talented kickboxer. While lifting weights he would gain some pounds and still keep his athletic skills. He would turn out to be a gifted fighter, but wanted more than just martial arts and he would meet his first pro-wrestling friends. At the age of 18 he discovered wrestling with the help of Sheik who would train him. As a part of the family in 1990 he would grow to be a pro. Rob was vicious on the floor and formed a great tag-team with Sabu. Rob won many single an tag team championship titles. Rob moved and discovered a lot which made him move from WCW where he was since late 1992 to NWC in 1995. It was since 1995 that Rob was discovered by Keith Strandberg, a martial arts director for some of the coolest movies. After that, Rob would get a role in the appreciated Bloodmoon in 1997 as a tough guy. Since that time Rob can be seen in several cool action movies, in which he mostly portrays tough guys. Rob is married to his lovely Sonia. |
