Abdel is the oldest of 4 brothers, and born in Morocco. Youssef and Michel were born in Belgium.
Abdel, Youssef and Michel are all great fighters, skillled in American Boxing since a very young age and all friends of Jean Claude van Damme after they met him while training in the gym. Michel would expand his skills by training further with Van Damme in Shotokan Karate and in Kickboxing and Muay Thai, even training in Thailand and in the US. In Europe, Michel became the Amateur Kickboxing Champion at the age of 17. Youssef also did a lot of competing, winning several fights by KO's.
The brothers often work together with Van Damme in the movie industry. Abdel's goal is not to be an actor. he works in the transport industry (STIB) in Brussels, but he occasionally travels to where Van Damme is, and co-stars in some of his movies. Youssef, after doing some modelling work, did attend at the set of 2 movies, one of which with Van Damme, together with his brother Michel. They would later work together in 2 movies.
Michel has the biggest succes. After having some small roles in front of and behind the camera, he had his breakthrough as the vivious Tong Po in Kickboxer part 1 and 2. Van Damme and Qissi would later reunite in Wrong Bet. Michel also worked with Youssef in 2 more movies.
Michel is getting more and more talented after working as a director and fight choreographer.
