Born on 10 March 1940, in Ryan, Oklahoma.

As a kid, being used to raise his 2 brothers with his mother, Chuck started training in Tang Soo Do. Chuck had lessons from Bruce Lee himself. In a short while, Chuck became a Karate instructor. Eventually he'd be teaching full time and even trained celebrities such as Steve McQueen and Precilla Presley. Chuck would have a black belt in Tang Soo Do and later in Tae Kwon Do.

In 1968 Chuck became the Professional World Middleweight Karate Champion. He held this title until he retired in 1974. In 1969 Chuck had won the Triple Crown award for the most tournament wins and was named Fighter of the Year by the Black Belt magazine.

At the age of 32, Chuck had established 32 Karate schools and was a champion for 6 years. In 1996 Chuck was the first westerner to gain an 8th degree black belt in TKD. He also has a 10th degree in Tang Soo Do. Chuck has founcded several martial arts and organizations.

It was Steve McQueen who pushed Chuck into becoming an actor. Chuck is now a succesful actor, producer, writer and fight choreographer, famous for many roles, mainly being Walker, Texas Ranger.
