Dave's parents are both martial arts instructors, so practising martial arts are as natural as breathing for him. He started training in Judo and Tae Kwon Do. Dave would become very successful using his athletic skills, which would make him a member of the Australian Judo Team in 1992 and the Tae Kwon Do Team in 1995. Dave has a 1st degree black belt in Judo and a 5th gegree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
A study is also important to him and David just finished his Bachelor in Physiotherapy. While studying he would meet Brett Houghton. With him he would make "The Huntsman" and a new carreer was born. Since then, David would star in many movies, perform stunts and even do the choreography for some movies. David had his real breakthough against Jackie Chan in Mr. Nice Guy and has now made it to The Matrix sequels.
Right now, David is working as a Physiotherapist, and is still training in the arts. In his parent's footsteps Dave is now also a Tae Kwon Do instuctor. Dave will also continue to make movies for Furious Films Productions.
