John got his fame with playing as Superboy, before Gerard Cristopher. John is also a skilled martial artist, trained in Kickboxing. John has been in several movies and several genres, being a good actor. He was in Melrose Place for 2 years. John's good and typical looks gave him several 'Italian-like' roles.
He also appeared in action movies. A good movie in which he showcased his martial arts is Isaac Florentine's Desert Hawk. In that movie John had a great fight against WMAC-Master's Michael M. Foley. John also appeared against Chuck Norris in Walker.
