My thoughts
A very good movie. A comic book adaptation. Very well directed and acted. This movie starts in the dark and as soon as the turtles show up, the action and humour begins.
This movie is ment for the younger viewers, but grown-ups who like humour and martial arts will enjoy this one. The stunts are good, so are the fights, thanks to some great stuntmen and coordinator Pat E. Johnson.
The movie is followed by two sequels and a series with even more humour and action. |

Storyline
Four little turtles and a rat get into contact with chemical ooze. As a result they transform into a human rat and four giant turtles.
The rat, Splinter, trains them to be ninjas, protecting the city secretly, while living humble in the sewers.
When The Shredder, a villain from Splinter's past shows up leading a clan of criminal ninjas, The Foot, the turtles are forced to emerge from the sewers and fight The Shredder and his army. But the turtles also meet some new friends, who will be needed. |
