My thoughts
This sequel to Van Damme's Timecop is not a complete ipoff, but a nice action / sci-fi movie. The story is at many times vague and chaotic, but Jason Scott Lee and Thomas Griffith put down some good acting. The settings were nice too.
The fights were not the main thing in this movie, but they were good. However Lee and Griffith were doubled, and getting older, they did a lot of their martial arts themself. And ... the movie had morals.... and an impressive cast of martial artists.
Compared to most sequels (Die Hard 2, Lethal Weapon 2, Jurassic Park 2, etc.) they did a great job and the movie is wort watching. |
