My thoughts
It's not a martial arts movie, but the director, Steven Widi Ho is a martial atrs champion, and for some of the roles he used famous stuntmen; Al Goto, Johnny Koyama, Chris and Mark Caso. Also the boxer Dan Trejo has a role. The only bit of muscle and action is when John 'Butch' Koyama knocks Igby out and later at home appears without a shirt. Al Goto does a nice fall.
This movie is remarkably well directed and the actors did a good job. It resembles Falling Down with Michael Douglas. |
