My thoughts
Very cool. Not as good as part 1. Too many effects and CGI. After watching part 2, I realize part 1 was subtle. But Blade 2 had more actors like Donnie yen and Ron Perlman, which was very enjoyable. And........ Blade 2 had more horror elements, and was a little bit scarier.
The fights were not better than in part 1, but good enough. But, besides the effects, which were overdone, so were the fights also. You could see which fights were fake, or doubled.
On the other hand, the story was fine,a nd original. The 'working together' concept was great. You can taste the fear, hate, anger, frustration, and I do think part 3 will be great. |
