My thoughts
A very great movie. One of the many superhero-movie adaptations, but the only real good one for that time.
Good acting, especially from Jack Nicholson. A nice story, a dark and almost scary atmosphere and nice effects and action. Enjoyable in seevral genres: action, thriller, science fiction, mystery.
Tim Burton manages to pay attention to the men behind the masks all the time.
This movie spawned three sequels. All of them were good, but part 2 and 3 were great. |
