Born in Santa Barbara, California
Matt has been a martial artist before thinking of acting. Matt has a black belt in Kenpo Karate. It was his instructor who introduced him to the entertainment industry, in which he has had a lot of success so far.
Matt is now a capable stuntman turned actor. He started doing stunts in low budget movies/series in the early 80's and had his first acting part in Van Damme's Cyborg in 1989. He would grow to keep doing stunts, but in more big budget movies and later alse being a good actor starting with small roles and in 1994 having his first lead role in Red Scorpion 2, and some guest appearances in popular series. Besides acting he' also extremely busy with modelling for Calvin Klein and Gianni Versace.
Now Matt can be seen in some of the best and most promising movies such as Pearl Harbour and Matrix 2 and 3. Matt has proven that people can be good at more than just one thing.
