Bio and martial arts background

Rob would start training soccer and in 1976 discovered martial arts. His first art was Penchak Silat. Later he went to Muay Thai. In 1978 he started training very serious at the Mejiro gym and would soon start competing. Rob was a talent and his international breakthrough was defeating Blinky Rodriguez, cousin of Benny Urquidez.

Rob would travel the whole world and fight in Thailand and Japan where his fame is legendary winning many world titles. Rob is a many times ISKA and WKA World Champion.

In the late 80's and early 90's Rob started acting in movies. He started in Bloodfist against Don 'the Dragon' Wilson and would later appear in 3 movies with Jean Claude van Damme, while still competing.

Later in 1999 Rob would retire after suffering a neck hernia and spenc more time with his son Gaby.
