Gor gor's house being broken in
(Oriental Daily - April 20) The wooden fences outside Gor gor and Mr.Tong's house were found to be ruined the other day. Mrs.Chan admitted about this, she complained, "gor gor, Mr.Tong and all the friends didn't do anger anyone, and didn't have any hateful relationships with anyone; but a few days ago I found that the wooden fences outside the house had been stepped on and ruined, I think somebody attempted to climb in to destroy things, so I already reported to the police. (It's being investigated now?) Yes! I've already given it all to the police, they'll decide how to handle it."

On the other hand, it was said that Tong had been staying at home and not taking a step out for 11 days already. Friends still took turns to come accompany him everyday. And last night (April 19) at around 7:30pm, a (crazy?) guy suddenly came to ring the door bell, saying that he was there for a debt, saying that gor gor owed him 7-8 billion dollars, and that his own family have already migrated to Iraq.. (-_-"?) the police called an ambulance to send him to the hospital for inspection but he refused, and finally left after being warned and lectured by the police.

Gor gor' "3.7" - his brother does Buddhist rituals
(Oriental Daily - April 22) It was the 21st day after gor gor was gone, on April 21, the day is traditionally called the "3.7". Though gor gor didn't have any religious background, his older brother Cheung Fatt-Wing, who's a Chinese "fortune-teller", held a 4-hour long Buddhist service at a temple on the day for gor gor. Cheung's wife, sisters and a few family members attended. Some 300 fans also came to chant. Mr.Tong didn't appear though. The rituals began at 5:30pm and ended around 9:30pm. Gor gor's photo at the funeral was used again, and fruits were placed on the sides. Cheung was very shocked to see reporters arriving, when he was asked if he was holding the rituals for gor gor, he said "I can't answer." and quickly sped away back into the temple. Anita Mui holds a "thankyou" feast (Oriental Daily - April 23) In the evening of April 22nd, Anita Mui held a big feast at the famous Shanghai restaurant in Wan Chai, as a "thankyou" and comforting meal for all the friends who gave effort for gor gor's funeral. Many attended and they occupied three round tables. It was said that gor gor often came to this restaurant with Mr.Tong, and that 4 days before he committed suicide (March 26th), gor gor even bumped into Tung Chee-Wah (head of HK) who was also there for dinner at the elevator; the two of them greeted and talked quite happily. And that gor gor didn't act any different that night, the elevator attendent helped them press the elevator button, gor gor even gave him $100 tips. According to a waitor at the restaurant, gor gor always ordered his favourite desert, the "fried red-bean cake" after every meal, but that night he didn't order that. Nobody would expect him to suicide 4 days after. The group of workers regret not having taken a picture with gor gor. Anita Mui also sighed for that; this time they're back having a feast at this old place, Anita thanked all the people for comforting her, and that her mood is now more calmed than before.
Anita gave very generously at the big feast; numerous bottles of red-wine and beer were opened. That restaurant was well-known for its very expensive dishes, but Anita didn't mind ordering a lot. The 3 tables ended up costing more than $10thousand HKD. According to the waitors there, gor gor always came to this restaurant 2-3 times a week, everytime costing around a thousand dollars.
Gor gor's home still being visited
Up until now, gor gor's home is still being visited by fans. A fan posted up three pieces of paper on the wall expressing her own feelings, saying that she missed gor gor too much to the point that she even wanted to "follow gor gor". But after thinking that her own family will be very painful, so she put away the idea. Other fans sent flowers and paper-swans there, some other fans took photos outside gor gor's door for memories.
Sandy Lam attends Taiwan's "Golden Song award" for the 1st time
It's reported that Sandy Lam, who had never attended Taiwan's "Golden Song Award" before, this time surprisingly agrees to attend, the reason was for gor gor. It was said that Sandy Lam, who had moved to live in Shanghai now, really wanted to come to HK for gor gor's funeral, but due to the SARS fear and the worry that it'd affect the three kids and her old mother-in-law at home, she ended up only sending a joint flower basket with her husband to the funeral. And for this, Sandy had been feeling very regretful. Originally Sandy wanted to sing on stage for gor gor during her Beijing concert, but the concert was cancelled due to SARS, and just at this point the Taiwan Golden Song Award invites her to attend and sing a song for gor gor, so she for the first time, agrees to go.
Sandy and gor gor's deep friendship lasted 20+ years; the first time the two of them had a chance to work together in a film, was many years ago in "Loong fung jee doh sing", they had maintained as great friends though after Sandy left HK they could rarely meet. Gor gor especially mentioned Sandy during a radio interview in '99 when he was asked to name his good friends. Gor gor said that Sandy was the kind of friend that "even though we rarely get to meet, but we're still very very close."
