Sara: "Come on Cecily! Great Aunt Eliza should be arriving soon"
Cecily: "Father said she could be very difficult Sara! So we have to mind out for her"
Sara: "Is she here yet?"
Felicity: "Not yet"
Sara: "What are you readin?"
Felicity: "A book?"
Cecily: "What kind of book?"
Felicity: "The kind that requires absolute silence to read!"
Sara: " We’ve seen the most beautiful butterflies, all yellow black an purple! Come on Felicity we’ll show them to you!"
Felicity: "Please Sara! I’m trying to read. Would you mind taking your childish prattle somewhere else?"
Sara: "You used to like my childish prattle!"
Felicity: "That was when I was a child myself"
Sara: "Since when did you grow up ? I must have missed something.
Cecily: "Look here they’re!! Johanne they’re here! They are here!"

Aunt Eliza arrive in a carriage with Alec and Felix in front of the King farm.

Aunt Eliza: "Thanks goodness! We’re here! I couldn’,t bear another moment in this contraption!oh!"

Aunt Eliza is now in front of Sara, Felicity and Cecily

Aunt Eliza looking at Sara: "Dear Felicity, how adorable you look!"

Aunt Eliza: "Well Janet, dear, are you inviting me in or must I wait for the judgement?!"
Alec: " How long did you say that her visit lasted with cousin Myrtle?"
Janet: "Eight months!"
Alec: "Eight months??!"

Aunt Eliza is not inside the house…
Aunt Eliza: "Janet!"
Janet: "I’m comming aunt Eliza!"

Alec: "All right"
Felix: "Don’t hurt your shoulder father. You’ve got to save yourself for the cricket match!"
Alec: "ha! Ha! Don’t worry Felix!"
Felix: " You’re our start player!"
Alec: "I’ll have plenty of energy for the cricket match tomorrow…I think…"

Alec is going inside the house

Sara: " Its going to be so exciting watching uncle Alec play tomorrow!"
Felix: "I couldn’t sleep thinking about it!"
Felicity: "Well I hope you will enjoy yourself children! I’ve decided not to attend…cricket is such a monotonous sport!"

Felicity is leaving…

Felix: "Monotonous… cricket is the best game in the universe!"

Sara: "She’s a grow up now. Didn’t you know that?"

David: "Whoa! Whoa!"
David: "I’m sorry! I didn’t see you… are you all right?"
Felicity: "mm-mmm"
David: "That’s a relief!"
David: "What’s your name?"
Felicity: "Felicity……..King"
David: "David Hawes"
David: "I’m, uh.., staying over at the White Sands… my team is there for the cricket match"
Felicity: "Cricket match?"
David: "Yes, tomorrow, to raise funds for the Chalottetown hospital"
Felicity: " Oh! That cricket match! Cricket is simply ripping! Watching it is my most favorite pastime! I wouldn’t miss it for anything!"

Felicity says yes with her head.
Felicity: "As a matter of fact my father play for the north shore team"
David: " Perhaps I’ll see you there then!"

Felicity is now in the tea room with her father, cecily, her johanne and Aunt Eliza. She is sitting next to her father and want to kow everything about cricket! Now she like it!

Felicity: "Cricket is such an exciting game father! Will you teel me all about it?"
Felicity is day-dreaming…
Alec: "Well there are eleven palyers on each team you see… and there us two sets of wickets which have to be defended by the batsman"
Felicity: "That’s fasinating!"
Alec: "Yes… now the"

Felicity: "I just can’t wait till tomorrow!"

Aunt Eliza: "Janet, is there more tea, another cup would be most welcome, so soothing for my catarrh"

Aunt Eliza: "Don’t rease the dead dear child! I’m still of the living! Though now I have avoided so far the grim reaper remains a mystery!"
Aunt Eliza: "I will have another slice, thought I find that you’re a little heavy-handed with the salt Janet! Is that why you’ve had none yourself?"
Janet: "No, no, just a tough of nausea, I think I had to many strawberries yesterday"
Aunt Elisa: " Why! I have a button comming out my sleeve, Janet, do you think you’ll be able to sew it on for me?

Felix and Sara are in the wood they are about to go fishing
Sara: "Felicity isn’t the same anymore, She’’s mooning around like a lost calf"

Felix: "Shhhhh"

Felix saw a man…
Felix: " You there! This is my private fish hole! You better move out of here!"
Gus: "I’ll leave it for you"
Gus: "Lots of fish for everybody!"

Gus go to another spot…near Felix’s one
Felix: "Another one! How did he do that?"
Sara: " Maybe he’s goot a special bait?"

Gus play his fiddle and Felix caught a fish because of that…

Gus: "Yup! I got me a special bait!"
Felix: "Who are you?"
Gus: "Gus Pike’s my name."
Sara: "Where are you from?"
Gus: "Just come off a ship and looking for work"
Felix: " You can come back at our place, we might have work for you"

Felicity is in the bedroom and Cecily wants to come in

Ceclily: "Felicity let me in"

Alec is outside with Andrew…
Alec: "Well if there was a competition between chores and book reading I think I would know the winner"

Felix and Sara are comming with Gus
Felix: "Father!"
Sara: "Uncle Alec!"

Sara: "This is Gus Pike he   is looking for work"
Felix: " He caught 10 trout playing his fiddle tot them"

Felicity is writting in her diary
"Will my summer ends without my being kiss?"

Felix and Sara want to spy Felicity

Sara: "Stay low…"

Felix is reading out loud Felicity’s diary

In the evening Felicity is in the kitchen and she is talking to herself.
Felicity: " Plenty of time for grown up hairstyle and fancy dresses. He was never a girl"
Felicity: "Why David, I told you I wouldn’T miss this match for anything…of course I,ll have tea with you"
Sara: "Felicity…."
Felicity: "Sara, can you see that I’m busy?"
Sara: "Felicity, I just want to say that it wasn’t my idea to stole your diary….and I’m sorry about what happened!"

Sara: "Cricket match…I thought you said it was monotonous"
