In Matthew 4:19
"Come follow Me," Jesus said, "and I will make you
fishers of men."
The revelation of God in Jesus Christ called people to follow Him, to become useful employees in the task of bringing followers to commitment to God through Christ. Revelation is a call to action as well as a call to know.
Christ's call to follow Him in discipleship is a call to evangelize other people. The call has only one proper response - immediate obedience.
Discipleship always involves the call to witness. Jesus went where the people were, met their needs, and proclaimed Good News to them.

Groups are needed to go to public beaches.
These groups will set up volleyball & soccer
games, sunscreen stations, water stations, to play frisbee, etc.
Its a pretty flexible ministry.
One Acteen group came out two years in a row
and set up a table with all kinds
of little toy trinkets.
Written on them was Jesus Loves You.

Our main goal is to provide a service
which will draw people.
Beach
Ministry is a special ministry.
There are more seeds
planted at random than any other.
There will be volleyball tournaments, free drinks and sunscreen,
sand sculpting contests, even puppet shows some of these are limited as we don't have
any way to supply power to the groups.
Once the people come, the groups can develop
relationships and witness to these people conversationally.

We may also have the option of offering beach ministry
to groups as an evening ministry.
They would set up bonfires and do group singings
and other
campfire type activities to draw people.
Beach Ministry for the college groups are basically found in the top two paragraphs. Only this
will be offered as afternoon/early evening ministry.
