50th Anniversary of the Syrian Armed Forces (Syria) Medal is composed of a multitiered system of three stars (a 90mm five-pointed five-ray, a 65mm silver five-pointed star and a 40mm five-pointed gilt star, with the Syrian flag connecting the rays of the smallest star). In the center is a 18mm disk with a set of wings, a fouled-anchor and crossed sabers over a wreath below. The medal is suspended from a 40mm ribbon.
