Common Defense Service Medal This is the seldom seen and very rare Common Defense Service Medal
issued by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The medal is 2.5 inches in
diameter and was designed in 1991 by the then Governor, Rafael
Hernandez Colon. It was originally called the Order of Common
Defense. TORMENTA DEL DESIERTO translates as DESERT STORM. Image
