Mali buries Touré after posthumous honour African blues pioneer Ali Farka Touré was buried Thursday, a day after his country awarded him its highest civil honour. On Wednesday, Malian President Amadou Toumani Touré posthumously named the Grammy-winning singer and guitarist a commander of the National Order. "Farka is a monument of Malian music.
