Jubilee medal issued to mark 10th anniversary of parliament A jubilee medal has been issued to mark the 10th anniversary of the Kazakhstani parliament. Nursultan Nazarbayev, president of Kazakhstan, has signed a corresponding order. The jubilee medal will be awarded to citizens of the republic and foreign citizens, who have made a significant contribution into the development and becoming of the Kazakhstani parliamentarism, out of the number of state and public figures, employees, public workers, organisation, and industrial production workers. The jubilee medal issued to mark the 10th anniversary of parliament is made of brass, it has a form of a circle with 34 mm diameter. The right side of the medal has the state flag of Kazakhstan in the centre, whose depiction is made of blue enamel. There is a laurel in the lower part of the medal. To the right of the medal there is a relief writing "10 zhyl," in two lines. On the back side of the medal there is a writing "Kazakhstan Respublicasinin Parlamenti" in three lines. In the lower part there is an element of national decoration. The medal is attached to clothes by means of an enamel ribbon, covered with a moire band. eng.gazeta.kz 27 Dec 05
