Prominent Dominicans recognised in 2005 meritorious service honours A number of prominent Dominicans will be recognised for their outstanding contribution to public life at the Parade of Uniformed Groups on November 3, 2005. Meritorious Service Honours will be bestowed on twenty Dominicans. Henry Dyer, who has served in Cabinet in various capacities and until the May 5, 2005 General Election was the country’s Attorney General, will receive Dominica’s second highest honour, the Sisserou Award of Honour. The Sisserou Award of Honour will also be conferred on Dr. Philip Griffin, Mr. Conrad Mcintyre and Urban Baron, who has been the Parliamentary Representative for the Petite Savanne Constituency since 1990 and is presently the Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Public Works and Public Utilities. Former Government Ministers, Mr. Henry George and Mr. Heskeith Alexander will receive the Meritorious Service Award. Chief Personnel Officer, Mrs. Juliet Lewis and Rudolph Thomas & Sons are among a number of persons who will receive Meritorious Service Award.
