Eric: "Uh, thank you very much. We're uh, we're here tonight to, um..." (notices Sean looking at him in concern) "What?"
Sean: "You okay?"
Eric: "Yeah." (looking at the audience again) "We're uh.."
Sean: "You sure?"
Eric: "Yeah, why?"
Sean: "'Cause I got nominated for a Comedy Award and....and you didn't."
Eric: "Yeah, no, I know, it's great, congratulations."
Sean: "Yeah...it's cool?"
Eric: "It's totally cool, it's fantastic."
Sean: "Okay, okay."
Eric (looking at the audience again): "Uh, we're here-"
Sean: "'Cause, uh, Debra got nominated, too."
Eric: "Yeah...yeah, you and Debra, which is unbelievable, it's...I'm so proud of both of you guys."
Sean: "Yeah, 'cause I don't want the awkwardness-"
Eric: "No, no, no, no, it's great." (looking at the audience again) "We're, um-"
Sean: "And Megan."
Eric: "And Megan. Yeah, I know, all three of you, you and Megan and Debra."
Sean: "'Cause there's four of us."
Eric: "Three out of four is pretty good. I'm a team player, yeah. Yeah, it's fine. Really, it's cool."
Sean: "You're sure?"
Eric: "Yes, yes."
Sean: "Okay."
Eric: "We're here to, um-"
Sean: "Wow, you're SO brave!"
Eric (snapping): "No, okay that's enough, alright?! I'm not brave, I'm not happy, it's not cool, it's not fantastic! Okay, I'm sad, and I'm disappointed, and I'm embarrassed and I'm...crushed. Okay? Are you satisfied?"
Sean: "Wow, Eric...why don't you save that energy for the folks who are nominated?" (turns Eric's head so that it's facing the audience again)

The cast on "Larry King Live"

Debra: "So they flew Eric down from Canada. And we met at Jim Burrows' house. And after two seconds, I thought he was the funniest, most charming man alive, and I was like, sign me up."
Larry King: "How did you get it (the role)?"
Eric: "Well, I'm the funniest, most charming man alive. So it was really a slam dunk."

Larry King: "Are you all going to do one of the 'Friends' bits and hold everybody up for a ton of money?"
Eric: "Of course."
Megan: "Yes, clearly."
Debra (laughing): "I love that they came on the same beat, yes."
Larry King: "Are you going to put their backs to the wall?"
Megan: "This is where the hard driving journalism comes in."
Sean: "We're a gay show. We're going to put their chests to the wall."

Larry King (to Megan, about being a prosititute): "Do you ever miss your old job? We only got 30 seconds."
Megan: "Yes. Yes, I do."
Larry: "Those were the times?"
Megan: "Yes."
Debra: "She moonlights on the hiatuses."
Eric: "You didn't go by the name 'Heidi', did you?"
Megan: "Hey, now. I knew I'd seen you somewhere before!"

Sean (brushing his hair): "97. (pause; to people off-camera) Let's try again."
Eric (off-screen): "98!"
