Reading a fan's message: 
"May 26th was Takuro's birthday, right?  Did you have a party?  How was it?" 
His reply: 
Well, we've been busy doing concerts and recordings.  We hardly had time to celebrate his birthday.  We just had a small party with the band members and some friends, but he seemed very happy.  

It was after recording.  Takuro was doing the guitar dubbing, and it was as if we said "Would you finish your part soon, so we can give you a party?"  I gave him a Beatles T-shirt.  I saw a drawing of them in a music magazine, and thought Takuro would like that.  I sent the drawing by fax to Teru, and asked him to make some changes on it. Teru said he would finish in 3 minutes, and he really did!  Takuro was very happy with the gift, but I haven't seen him wearing it since that day. (laughs)

Billy Corgan has announced Smashing Pumpkins will be dissolved soon.  He has said the reason isn't a conflict among the members.  I wonder why they decided to disband?

Well, but it's not surprising.  Smashing Pumpkins has been a band of one person - Billy Corgan - lately.  Personally, I think they have cooled since D'Arcy (the bassist) left the band.  Their last concert will take place on June 27th, in Osaka.  So, if you are a Smashing Pumpkins fan, go for it!  Another band, Blankey Jet City, also will be dissolved.  It's really a pity.  

The songs "Emushii" and "Tsuki to Sabaku" were aired ,and Jiro asked:  "What did you think about my two selections?  I don't like hip hop, but I've liked Suchadarapaa (it's a Japanese band) for a long time - and fra-foa. . . Actually, I don't know anything about this band.  By chance, I read a magazine interview where the vocalist said she likes that painful feeling of Nirvana and Radiohead.  I thought : "As I do!"  - and searched for their CD.  I found it very good, and then I decided to put this song on air.

Reading a fan's message:
  "Someone scribbled the article about Glay I've clipped out of the newspaper of 2000/01/01.  I found the culprit was my father.  He said he feels jealous because I think of Glay all the time.  Why do you think about such father?  He drew a mustache and a goatee on your picture."

His reply: 
I understand your father's feelings.  You have to show him thankfulness.  Don't spend all your time on things concerning the band.  Mustache and goatee?  This is Takuro in the What's In (magazine) issue with Noel Galagher!  :)
