The House on Mango Street This book is very interesting although I did not read it too much, I must say I love the author Sandra Cisneros' writing. She is a very creative writer that uses sharp metaphors. The passage I found to be very well thought out was when she said "I am a red balloon a balloon tied to an anchor". That made perfect sense when describing she needed a friend to share secrets with. What I think of this book is that it is good, however it is not likeany other book I have read. It really does not have any story lines, it just has short passages or stories within the book. It does not necessarily make sense but I think it is unique.
