War and more War

On March 23,2003 the United States launced the war against Iraq. Why? Was it for the so-called weapons of mass destruction held by dictator Saddam Hussein? Maybe it was for the abundant oil that America could benefit from. Was this war neccessary? What are the true answers to these question? Where do we find them? I'm not hearing them from the media nor are they written in the newspapers. our leaders are not providing sufficient answer.
President Bush claims we went to war for a just cause. He said Saddam Hussein has biological and chemical weapons.in Iraq even though United Nations report says otherwise.Bush also insisted there is a link between former Iraqi leader Hussein and Al-Qaeda but reported by Senate Intelligence Commitee and 9/11 Commisson that there is no evidence. They weren't able to prove that he had anything to do with September 11.We had no actually reason to go after him other than his unjust actions in ruling his country. they never found weapons of mass destruction. One thing America gained is the control of the oil pipes.
Major combat ended but the war did not. There is still troops in Iraq and conditions are becoming worst for them. The Iraqi people do not appreciate American occupation of there country.Guerilla warfare and suicide bombing has killed so many soldiers as well as civilians. The presense of troops has increased the tension between them and the Iraqis.I think it is time American troops pull out from there. They now have an established democratic government so the local authority can take over the control of the turmoil on the streets.Saddam has been captured, the country has been searched for biological or chemical weapons, and there is a new government in place so its time to leave since U.S. government goals have been achieved.
Amerca trying to do well has brought more problems.the deficits has increased drastically due to the war in Iraq.Prolonging the stay will weaken our economy even more.In the long run,we will suffer when money is short and fewer jobs.As for the Iraqis, things haven't really changed much even though Saddam gone.Poverty will still plague the country.People have not much food just like before. Many children are still homeless especially now because there mother or fater died due to this war.Too many deaths came out of this war than happiness or victory. Will Iraq ever be fixed?all that matter these days is WAR: war on terrorism, in Afganistan, in Iraq...hopefully there is no more war.
