My name is Charisse A. Cameron and I was born on September 8, 1985. A lot of who I am today could be attributed to many factors. The surroundings that I grew up in to the people that have effected my life make up who I am today. These characteristics will also help to shape my future.
If somebody were to ask me what type of person I am it would take me a while to answer. The way that I view myself is different from the way people view me. After giving it some thought I can say that I am a caring person who values friendships. I am a serious person who takes care of my responsibilities. I am a person who values education because I know that it will take me places. I am a loyal fan to baseball, basketball, and football. I am a reliable person. Most importantly (if the time is appropriate) I like to have fun and laugh.
My personality traits could be traced back to people who have influenced me. My mother is a person who enjoys to laugh. Although she enjoys a hearty laugh she could be serious as well. She is also an optimistic person. I could identify with the traits of optimism and good laughing abilities. On the other hand, my father is also a serious person who has a strong appreciation for music. The seriousness has rubbed off on me at times but the appreciation for music is not as strong. My sister who is a year older than me, is an outgoing person who enjoys people. I enjoy people that I can trust. Besides people that have shaped my personality, I think that I have picked up my "up-front" type of persona from the simple fact that I live in New York.
My role models or influences are my parents. They are my role models because they came to this country with something but not as much as they have now. They were able to raise two girls who turned out alright. They are respected by many of their family and friends. All in all, their lesson in life is be successful in whatever you do. Another person that has influenced me is NBA All-Star from the Milwaukee Bucks known as Ray Allen. He is a humbled person who was able to become a positive role model for fans and most importantly children. He is very active in Milwaukee and Connecticut with his charities to feed and clothe the poor. He takes time off of his schedule to educate children on the importance of reading. His actions have inspired me to become more active in the community in terms of doing volunteer work.
I have many goals for my future. I have decided to be a successful person in whatever career path I take. I want to be successful because I do not want to rely on my parents for the rest of my life. In whatever career path I partake in, I want to make a good living. This will enable me to carry out my dream of owning my own house in Las Vegas by the age of 25. If it is not possible at 25, then at least before I am 30.
All in all, I want to stay a loyal sports fan because sports have many qualities. It could entertain you when you are stressed. It could improve memorization skills because putting the time into being a fan requires me to know the names, teams and coaches. It is also good to know the statistics for conversation. Most importantly, I would want to remain a fan because it could be a career consideration.
