Who am I

My name is Adebisi-Apanpa. I was born in Africa, Nigeria. I am what you call a non typical high school kid. I have my own style, my own interest and I do things that some people (teenagers don't normaly do). My parents always tell me to do my best in school, which means if I don't get a 90 or above, I am going to be in big trouble, but I have never made a 90 average except for when I was in junior high school, but getting an 80 average is good enough for me.
My interest includes, singing, acting, making beads, which I sell at my uncle's shop sometimes, playing with my friends and also studying every second of the day for my S.A.T. I am a senior now, which means 5 more months till freedom from high school and then I head for college. There are a lot of people who wish to go to college and have a career, make friends, get a great job, leave home, and just have their freedom and I am definitely one of those people.
I mentioned that I do things that some teenagers don't do, which is true. I help out at the hospitals in Long Island where my mother works at sometimes, I have my own beads business at 17, so right now I am having a cool life. I have a lot of goals that I have set for myself by the time I reach 30, I want to be a lawyer, doctor, accountant, write a book and just live life to the fullest. My obsession with law came from years and years of watching court t.v and law and order, and from people always telling me that I should be a lawyer because I can argue for hours and hours withough stopping, the truth is I can do that.
Another reason why I want to be a lawyer badly is because of the fact that there are not a lot of african american lawyers in the world so I want to be a lawyer to sends a message to people that anyone can be a lawyer, you just have to be dedicated and ready for anything. I don't know what my future or faith has in stored for me, but I am going to make sure that it is full of achievement, and success. Back to Index 1
