Unnecessary Killing
Reflective Writing 5
On Friday April 1, 2005 around one in the afternoon a girl in this school was shot and killed. She was a 17 year old freshman that was "out on a lunch break." She was supossedly shot by an ex-boygriend. This was something that should not have happened.
The girl should have stayed in school so the probability of this would have been less. If she stayed and left at dismissal time there would have been more people around and she may not have been killed. Whatever problem the two had that he had to take her life over could not have been so serious since they were seventeen. They should have no serious problems they should have their lives to get over it and move on to someone or something else.
The incidents that take place now having to do with young love is getting to out of hand. They want to think and act like they are grown but they have want to solve the situation in an immature and violent way. Some want to kill themselves, the person they claim to love so much, or any other party that is involved. They tke such drastic measures.
The incident could have been avoided:she could have stayed in school and left with everyone else. In today's society love between teenagers is becoming so drastic and serious to the point it seems someone is killed everyday over it. They need to realize that it might not last forever and they should move on to better things.
