This means that a person may not have the best character if he treats people poorly that can't help him or treats them poorly if they are weak and defenseless. This can be seen everywhere, like in the war.

Soldiers on both sides of the war treta their captives and prisoners of war cruelly. There are pictures, andfootage of a female soldier putting a POW on aleash with no clothes on like an animal. They piled them on top of one another with bags over their heads. There are many different recordings of Iraq soldiers behading American soldiers. This shows taht the power belongs to whoever is holding the prisoner, they feel that they have the control. his can boost their ego and defame the prisoners making them feel horrible and weak or defenseless.

This can be seen in the war. The soldiers treat the POWs harshlly, and cruelly because they do not think they will be any significant use, and believe they are weak.
