Pro-Choice or Pro-Life

Abortion can be defined as the deliberate temination of a human preganacy. For years this procedure has incited controversy. Feminists will say thet it is their right to choose to terminate their child's life. Others will argue that it is an accepted act of murder that should be abolished. In the end the issue that remains unresolved is whether or not to choose Pro-Choice or Pro-Life.

Pro-Choice advocates suport abortion. They believe that women should have the right to formulate decisions regarding their bodies. This includes abortion. Pro-choice supporters will disgress with the fact that abortion is murder. To them, the embryo or fetus is not yet alive. Many women who rationalize the act by declaring that they are unprepared to have a baby. Others will say that it was merely "accident." Either Mike forgot to put on a condom or Jane didn't take the pill that particular morning. Unfortuneatly, even when used correctly, condoms, birth control pills, and other contraceptives are not absolutely effective. Sadly, society has become so corrupt that it can accept such a poor excuse for irresponsibility. Furthermore, even when the abortion is completed, the emotional effects will remain. Alongside guilt, comes the emptiness associated with the irreplacable loss of a child.

People who agree with the conceopt of Pro-Life promote the idea of having the child despite the circumstances. Women who choose Pro-Life may have considered abortion, but realize in the end that it is wrong. Others cannot even conceive of the notion of destroying the life of a child. These are women who take responsibility for their actions. They are willing to give the child the freedom to live. Some women keep the baby after birth, and put aside their dreams to fufill the child's well-being. Others may not have the means to raise the raise child, and can give the baby up for adoption. In doing this, they are giving the child the opportunity to grow in a well-balanced and loving home.

A wise individual once said that lufe is too precious to waste. With this concept in mind, it is evident that Pro-Life is the best decision. In doing this, the woman is displaying a great level of resposibility and maturity. She is willing to give her child the opportunity.
