Why does the war have to be inevitable? Why must we have war with Iraq? I pray to God that some agreement is reached. I do not believe in this war and I would not support it.
I have never been in this position before. This position where there is a very good possiblity of war with another country. Everyone is affected by this possibility of war. I am truly scared. I have family and friends that are already in the Armed Forces or have been in it before. I heard about the possiblities of the Draft. This makes me even more scared. My friends and family can be drafted because almost most of them meet the requirments for the draft. This war may go on for a vey long time. I may even be drafted.Iraq has Nuclear capabilities. If they use this power then we would have to use ours too. All that would remain, if any thing does at all, would be suffering, death and unrepairable damage.
I hate to look at the news. I have stopped looking at the news the day after 9/11. Every other story would was about terrorism or about some other sort of despair due to the events of 9/11. I don't think about this possible war with Iraq because i would get paranoid and depressed.
