I remember one warm summer day when most of the people on my block were having a water fight,the older guys were playing dice and drinking.My mother called me out my bedroom were me and my younger brother were playing video games,as I got up to go my younger brother maid a sigh and said "hurry back".My moms wanted me to go to the srore for her,she wanted a bottle of water because we had just ran out. As i went across the street i was saying whats up to my boys jeffrey and tony who were all soken wet from head to toe.As I turned to to walk off to the store my eyes caught a the new chick who had just moved on the block all three of us that were standing paused for a moment as she went by tony was like"DAMMM MAA,CAN I HOLLLA AT YOU FOR A MINUTE".As always girls from around the way always be frontin.Jeffery and Tony maid a bet that anybody who got this chick first was the man.They were trying to get me down with there stupid bet but I was not interested because I had the girl I always wanted. Summer went by and we were back in school it was the month of October.Tony me and Jeffery were suppose to meet on the first floor by the lunch room , as we were gossiping the girl they have mad the bet on was walking by and she waved and said "whats up guy's",it was a coincidence that at the same time with the same words Tony and Jeffery said "aint nothin".She had the same lunch period as we did.Jeffery had decided that it was his time to try his luckand the results,he had succseded and Tony was mad.The whole lunch period Tony did not say a word it was like he was in a diferent mind he was just sitting there on the table staring,I went over to see what was up with my boy ,so i said"are you alright man , I think you talking this stupid bet too far "tony="I actually think so too yo, but im startin to have feelings for her man".Me="your lieing man, im not trying to here that yo".Tony was serious he had that look on his face ,the same look he had on his face when we were in elementery school when that kid try to blame dropping that stink bomb on the principals head. The bell wrong for the next period and Jerrfery was walking towards us,as he walked towards us he had a smile on his face thats when Tony popoed the question "so how did you do man"?.JEF="Well I guess that I done well enough finding out her name and that she wanted you"?,TONY="What"?, JEF="Yea I said it,she wants you infact she said to give this note to you". THE NOTE SAID:

Hi Tony well the reason for writng this letter is becaus I was wondering if were interrested in going to the movies with me tomorrow.If you are interested meet me at my apartment or give me a call at (457-9823)and ask for tanisha. love T peace. Me"well I guess you won the bet" Tony"yea man "Jef"well you the man I just got to give it to you, you the MAAAN...."Tony and Tanisha were goin on the date and they were supose to leave at 8:00 O clock ,they were supose to see the movie Love and Bascketball.Tony and Tanisha arrived at the movies bought some popcorn and got right into their movie that started at 9:00. When the movie was over outside was cold and Tony gave Tanisha his jacket as they walked to the bus stop.On the way home they talking about how they felt about each other and what they thought about each other before they started dating,thats when Tony remembered that he thought it would be fare in how he got so interested in dating her.Tony"Tanisha I think there's something you need to know" Tanisha"what Tony is it something bad" Tony"well i'll let you decide you see the reason i was so caught up in dating you is because of a bet" Tanisha"WHAT A BET" Tony"let me expl.."Tanisha"no let me explain"Tanisha was in tears"I liked you ever since the first day I moved on the block and I always ignore you because every time I come arond you im nervous im speechless and know your telling me its all because of a stupid bet,well let me tell you this I dont ever want to see you again".Tanisha felt used and battered she never felt like this in her life, she ran to the phone and called a cab as Tony felt so selfish in his self ever since that day they never spoke again.
