Reviewing House On Mango Street was a good experience,what I drew to conclusion was that it was a very interesting book to review.This little girl Esperanza was growing up in what we call a very poor class neighborhood and she had no freedom to interact with her peers in her surroundings and if she had done that I really think that she would just blend right in.Growing up in a community with sexism and descrimination is not some where you would want your kid to grow up but if it do happens that you end up in this situation then I think thats when your child would need you the most. this book has a reflect on most of today's society and under these situation peer presure will be applied to our children.I really like the way the authour implies his statments so the reader could get the effect.I really think he got the point he was trying to make to the people who read this book.
