This Boy's Life The big question is"Did I like the book?" Well, if you asked me "How was the book writen?" then I would tell you that it was very well written. I liked the way the writer wrote everything with such detail. I coud picture what was going on. Such as when he wrote about Jack's step-father painting the hole house white when the Jack's mother was coming home. I could feel Jack's character when he was going to fight his friend in boxing. Or when he was playing basketball and his shoes where heavy. Now, back to the main question. The topic that was used the book, I didn't really like. I don't like hearing about hunting animals or Jack playing with his gun in the house trying to shoot someone. At points in the book I lost interest. I feel that is why it took me such a long time to read the book. I lost my interest when the writer would drag on with one topic when I felt like the storie should continue. My views where mixed with this book. I think this book is good for readers who enjoy hunting and reading about trouble among young boys. This wasn't one of my favorites.
