Borned in 1928,in a strict christian family.Felt the pain of punishment, hurt by racism as soon as she began to understand the feelings,as soon as she was ready to know the world.

From the begining of this wonderful book i was able to recognize in what way she tried to tell her life.By continuously reading i realized the story of her early painhoodand at last how she ended with well handled strong emotional woman.

As an African woman she had to handle daily dose of pain whether, it was based on religion, racism or, sexual abuse. She was encouraged by her dear grandmother as she gave some very important words out to her.She was told that no one could over take her dignity unless she allows them to take it.by adding this valuable lesson to her faith she learned to deal with her life. She found herself strong and stronger. She was able to become a proud writer and her thoughts and writings trough out the book will be well gifted to us in our everyday life.
