Moonlight Seasons
In the moonlight we danced sheek to cheek, shoulder to shoulder inhaling our love's glory. I peered up above towards God's land in a silent prayer when a brillant star caught my eye. It reminded me of spring, when the smell of sweet, wet grass would catch my attention as I sat in the park reading "Romeo and Juliet". It reminded me of summer when the sun would feast its hot, warm and romantic and fulfilling rays upon my forehead. It reminded of winter when I would snuggle closely to my favorite stuffed animal sipping hot chocolate hidden safely and warmly under the covers. It reminded me of fall when I watched the leaves turn magnificant colors, anxiously reminscing and conversating with each other and the tress and then falling slowly to the awaiting mother ground.
It reminded me of you and how we used to be and how used to make me feel. The memory of our moonlight dance and that heavenly star will eternly and vivrantly shine in my thoughts. Lighting my gloomy nights and intensifying my lonely days. But, was that our last moonlight dance? Will we never meet again under the sun's lovely rays on that park bench or under that fantastic tree? Next will God lead?
