Growing up is a struggle. Once you reach the legal age of 18, you as a person has evolved and grown so much. Your dreams have matured, your attitude has been perfected and you have mastered adolescence. And now you are preparing yourself for adulthood and life. This essay will examine and compare the two stages of change. These stages can be broken down according to the academic levels in high school: freshmen and sophomore year serve as Stage of change I and junior and year of high school serve as Stage of Change II.

Stage I, as stated earlier, is the stage of change categorized by individuals who are in their freshmen and sophomore year of high school. In this stage the individual, is still acting and carring themselves in an immature manner. They are unable to examine their feelings and express them in an accurate manner.
