My Response
I have honestly learned more in this class than I have in any other English class in the past. I didn't have the faintest idea about the internet prior to this term and now I am a bit of an expert; if I don't say so myself.
I do prefer writing on paper more than typing on the computer. Sure, when you type directly on the computer you save a lot of time and effort since you end up typing it eventually. I just feel that when you have a pen and paper you flow freely and capture the full essence and wonderful feeling you get when you write...something that you do not necessarily get on the computer.
One of the cool things about CyberEnglish is that you can look up information on whatever you are working on then and there. Instead of going to the library and looking up information to do some research. The only flaw about that is that it can make you a little lazy.
I feel pretty good about the work that I have completed so far. I am especially proud of my work that I have done on U.T.A.W. and Always Running, but I do feel that there is always room for improvement.
I have never felt any resistance to use the computers in class. I actually welcomed the idea of having computers in the classroom. It is always nice to try something new, and I feel that it worked out pretty well due to such a wonderful teacher. Thank you, Mrs. Mayo.
