My Autobiography I was born in the Dominican Republic in 1983. I immigrated to this country when I was 12. I didn't know how to speak english. As I started going to school things got easier and at the same time harder since on one side I started to see new people but on the other side these people weren't familiar to me. Also I was very depress because I was separated from my mother and I had to get used to a new family and a father I never lived with. I had a new life and I had to get a new personality.I know the didn't know the things my new family liked and dislike. School became the place that helped me escape from my problems at home.
