Like an untamed animal.
Some are oppressed because
They are white, block, Latin’s or Asian.
Or because they’re from any foreign nation.
Those who are unique we call them weird.
Is this why expressing individuality is feared?
Oppressed, depressed, suppressed
Every time we hear these words
We wish to cry a river
And with grief we begin to shiver.
If there isn’t an end to this oppression
Our world will enter in an eternal state of depression.
If you are represented by a rainbow flag.
Or let your pants sag.
Whether you are rich or poor
Make it clear that oppression is no more.
Whether you’re a Haitai or Tahiti
Love every stranger like his your brother
And recognize oppression isn’t where We need to be.
Love another individuality like its your mother.
Oppression should no longer exist
Especially in our country where we
Are #1 on the diversity list.
So lets exile oppression from this earth and appreciate
Every individual for their worth.
