A Grandmother and Granddaughters Love

I can remember it as if it where yesterday. As a kid I did alot from playing with friend's to going out and sharing special moment's with grandma. When I was about 8 years old I used to watch grandma in the kitchen as she would prepare those holiday dinners and cook those sweet potatoe pies. Um did I enjoy those pies not only did I like eating them but I especiaaly enjoyed helping her cook them. My grandma would let me pour the sugar in the bowl crack the eggs she even let me stur it knowing I Was going to make a mess. Now that I am all grown up on my way to college I look back and remember those things that I did with my grandma.

I Can also think back to the times when I would spend the night over grandmas house and every sunday morning she get me up and dressed in my pretty church outfit and then I would be of to church with grandma. Then after long hours at church she would come home and cook sunday dinner. As I started getting older me and my grandmother's relationship grew tighter and tighter. I also remember times when I would look forwad to my daily dollar so that I can get my favorite vanilla ice cream cone with sprinkles. Oh yes was ready for when the ice cream truck came around.

As I continue to get older these are the the things that I can look back on. Me and my mother have a pretty good relationship but it doesn't compare to the bond that a grandmother and granddaughter has. Now in these day's of time I feel like I can talk to my grandmother and share with her any problems that I am feeling and having.That's why I am happy to have the grandmother that I have. I can personaaly say that nothing compares to a grandmother and granddaughter's love.
