Anita's Memoir

This is a short story that I could call one of the worst days in my life:

It happened when I was six years old, it was Septemder 26,1988 at 3 o'clock in the morning (I remembered it like it was yesterday). My parents just came back from the hospital where my grand-father was staying, due to him having a stroke. He was a very independent man, he never relayed on anyone to do anything for him. He asked my mom that night to see my sister and myself. My parents left the hospital at that time to go home to pick up me and my sister. As soon as my mother walked in the front door to our house my sister started screaming so loud my dad's sister that lived next door to us heard her screaming and ran over to see what happened. My sister's ear was hurting her so bad her entire face turned blood shot red, she couldn't hear anyone talking to her. All she was doing was rocking back and foward holding her ear screaming. About two minites later we heard the phone ringing when my mom answered the phone it was the hospital saying my grandfather had a second heart attack and he couldn't pull through it. From the second my mom hung up the phone my sister stop crying and fell asleep like a baby. My mom says it was my grandfather's spirit trying to tell my sister something or his spirit just wanted to see her one last time because my sister was close with him, he was very close to her.
