Lifestory
Living in Louisiana was o.k.It was not exciting at all.When I was about 13years old,I came to U.S.A.I lived in Lake charles,Louisiana for one year.The people overthere are really racist.They discriminate against you so much,especially if you're from a different race.Going to school was not the nicest thing either.Some kids were nice,but others were not.The teachers were kind most times.After that year,I came to New York.I enjoy living here.I met all of my relatives,I made new friends with alot of people,and also I have a much more exciting life.I started junior high in 8th grade.After graduating that year from that school,I started Jamaica High School in1996.This is my last year in this school.I'm so happy to finesh this school.I'll miss my friends very much.I know for sure I'll keep in contact with them.
The friends that I've enjoyed spending the most time with were:Maria,sherry,lanie,Ravin,Safraz,and my darling boyfriend Shawn.They're really fun to be around.Staying over here was one of the best choice that I've ever made.
Starting college was one of the best thing that I could've done for myself. I've learned a lot. Making new friends in my major was wonderful. We shared many things in common. We also experience many things together.
Summer of 2001, I went on my first vacation with my sweetheart Shawn. We went to Orlando, Florida for one week and a half. It was beautiful. We went to Disney World, Sea World, fishing ect.We actually drove from New York to Florida, so it was a really long drive.
Summer of 2002, I visited my country Guyana for the first after 8 years. It was fantastic. I finally felt like home. I was reunited with family members and also I got to meet some relatives that I didn't know.The beaches are very beautiful overthere. The food is awesome as well.My boyfriend didn't go to Guyana with me, he had to work. This was the first time that we were apart. I missed him so much. He called me everyday. He engraved a picture of us on a tank top for me to take with me. In this way,I can see him. I wore the top when I came home because he picked me up from the airport at jfk, so he knew I was missing him.
After I came back from Guyana that year, we visited Lake George for the first time. I went with his parents and relatives. We went for a weekend there.
It was beautiful. I got to be with my honey so that made everything better.
For the rest of that summer we had a lot of fun. We constantly visited the beech and the lake.
Summer 2003, our first vacation alone. No parents. We visited my relatived in Louisiana. This was Shawn's first trip there. He've never been there before.
I hope we'll have fun.We're leaving for this trip tomorrow, 7/2/03.
