While Miss Mayo continued to explain the details of the course, I was filled with enthusiam and fear because I had little experience with the internet and I didn't have a computer at home.
Confused and lost, I sat there looking at the other kids while they were busy building their homepages. Fortunately for me, I had help from a few of the students who were kind enough to take a few minutes off from there work and help me. Day by day I became more familiar with the internet and the work we had to get done.
At home my dad hear me talking so much about my english class and how we were working online with the computers, he knew that I was really enthusiastic about this course, so a few weeks later he came home and suprised me with a computer.
With more practice I gradually increased my knowledge of the internet and now I am happy that I have had this chance to gain experience and can be part of this new growing technology.
