HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

I have the ability. The courage to become a successful young lady has always been my dream. I have dreamt of becoming a doctor; but the head doctor. I want to be a teacher; but the principal of my own school. I want to be an entrepreneur, a leader. I am willing to manage my own business and take enormous risks. If not for the Holy Bible being my most significant influential guide, none of my dreams would be possible. This wonderful book answers all of my questions.

Why do I pray? Who made the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains and the rivers? What is sin? What are some of the consequences sinners face? I have increased my knowledge by reading parts of these sixty-six books over my years of attending bible school, Sunday school, vacation bible school and eleven o’clock Sunday morning worship service. It seems impossible for me to turn in the wrong direction.

I have made some bad decision; I have also made some wrong decisions. Jesus was always there to speak to me and open my eyes a let me see that I was walking down a dark road. There were a few times when He held my hand and carried me into the light. I read about His life and marvelous things he has done and that makes me know that I don’t have to worry if I am leaning in the right direction. “Turn right, Go straight ahead”, this is the title of a song sung by Curtis Wilson. A member of Winfield Parker and Praise. I mention this song because it explains the road I am living on. I know what I want. I plan to seek various ways of making it to my destination. I have not always walked on a tar road. I have been on extremely long journeys where the roads where the streets were nothing but stones and gravel but whenever I turned towards the word of God, I rolled like a bowling ball down the lane in preparation for a strike. The word of God keeps me on track.

Jesus was a carpenter. He was also a teacher. In order to reach your destination you must have a hypothesis to build upon. Plan A may seem perfect, Plan B may be fine but you should always have some extra support. My strength is Jesus. He is my role model. Jesus has been the U-turn from all of my bad events. Not only did he lead me, he stretched his arms through the fire to seize me from burning and offered me a shoulder to lean upon.

"Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you”. I do not take advantage of people anymore. I noticed that to take advantage of someone is to physically abusing the person. To be used is to be abused. It was a corrupt practice. Abuse can also be one of the most emotional problems a person could go through.

No longer do I depend on people for what I want or need but I do seek. As a result of constant seeking I found that Jesus has been there and paid for all of my sin and to this day lend shoulder for me to lean on. Influence should be positive. I cannot get any more positive than Jesus and the Holy Bible.
